Many foreign tourists visit this location to taste the popular oil tteokbokki in market. And the 5,000won lunch package course is becoming very popular too. You can buy coupons on the second floor of the market and exchange them for the dishes you picked. (Oil tteokbokki charges a little extra) The yeopjeon (brass coin)-shaped coupons is also a charm of this market. You can look around the market and during rounds you can always find something you will like.
    • The Blue House (Sarangchae)
Cheongwadae Sarangchae is a history memorial hall where it shares about the past, the present, and the future vision of Seoul and Korea. It was a PR center called Hyojadong Sarangchae and it was reopened in January of 2010 after maintenance work was done on the location. It is made of 2 floors that contain a cultural tourism exhibition floor and a national vision exhibition floor.
    • Amethyst or Ginseng Center
The colour of Amethyst is as unique as it is seductive, though in fact this gemstone of all gemstones is said to protect its wearer against seduction.
Korean Amethyst is extravagance in violet since it has been formed from granite stone base since 5000 years. Moses described it as a symbol of the Spirit of God in the official robes of the High Priest of the Jews, and the Russian Empress Catherine the Great sent thousands of miners into the Urals to look for it. It was said to protect crops against tempests and locusts, bring good fortune in war and in the hunt, drive out evil spirits and inspire the intellect.
    • Itaewon
Itaewon is where the cultures of east and west collide. It remains Seoul’s largest multicultural district and is a virtual magnet for shoppers on the hunt for styles and sizes reminiscent to what they would find back home. Everything from athletic apparel' outdoor hiking gear' luggage' tailor-made suits' accessories' and baseball caps to a dizzying array of antiques and traditional souvenirs - you can find it all here. And for a relatively cheaper price too.
